Workshop: Yoga for Chronic Upper Body Tension
Whether you sit at a computer for hours, suffer from repetitive use injuries, or literally carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, this workshop is for you. Diane Stakoe, certified yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist, will guide you through gentle stretches and breathing techniques to slowly unwind tension in the upper body. Participants will receive a handout for a simple seated stretching series.
No experience necessary. Rex Wellness Center, Wakefield.

- Gentle Yoga, All Levels: Mondays from 9:30-11:00am and Tuesdays from 5:45-7:15pm
Enjoy a slower-paced, relaxed class that unfolds gently, allowing practitioners, new and experienced, to develop their practice from a more organic, internal place. A full range of Yoga postures are explored including stregnth building and deeper stretches, but all done in a gentle, slow and mindful manner. Excellent if you have had a tough day, are recovering from injury or illness, pregnant or post partum, or simply wanting a deep and gentle Yoga experience.
