Workshop: Yoga and Meditation for Hectic Times

The holiday season is here!  This can mean many things to many people.  Shopping, decorating, cooking, wrapping, parties, traveling, remembering the loss of a loved one…With all these things can come feelings of stress and anxiety and sometimes depression.  In this 2-hour workshop, Diane Stakoe, licensed massage therapist and certified yoga instructor, will teach you simple meditation techniques and gentle yoga stretches and postures that will transport you into a relaxed state of both mind and body, bringing you back to what the true meaning of this season is really about. 
No experience necessary.  Rex Wellness Center, Wakefield.

Current Classes taught at Moving Mantra Yoga Studio, 200 Sawmill Rd., North Raleigh:

• Gentle Yoga, All Levels: Mondays from 9:30-11:00am and Tuesdays from 5:45-7:15pm

Enjoy a slower-paced, relaxed class that unfolds gently, allowing practitioners, new and experienced, to develop their practice from a more organic, internal place.  A full range of Yoga postures are explored including stregnth building and deeper stretches, but all done in a gentle, slow and mindful manner.  Excellent if you have had a tough day, are recovering from injury or illness, pregnant or post partum, or simply wanting a deep and gentle Yoga experience.
